The Dräger Alcotest 6000 is a fast and compact breath alcohol monitoring device that meets the most stringent standards for professional breath alcohol detection. The Dräger Alcotest 6000 is an upgrade of the well-known Alcotest 5820 and is based on the same measurement technology as that used by police devices. Thanks to the proven qualities of the DrägerSensor, this robust breathalyser guarantees very fast response times and accurate test results regardless of weather conditions. It is intended for professional or personal use. For the safety of you and your test subjects, the instrument uses disposable mouthpieces, individually packed in hygienic packaging. The Alcotest 6000 is used in a similar way to the old Alcotest 5820:
The breathalyser is easy to use, so you can test for breath alcohol quickly and easily. All measurement functions are operated by a single button. Easy-to-understand text messages displayed on a large, colour, backlit screen help you safely navigate the alcohol testing procedure. The on-screen prompts are backed up by audible and visual LED signals that indicate the completion of the test and the detection of alcohol. The device's memory capacity has been increased from 200 recent tests (in the Alcotest 5820) to 500 tests. To view the data from the last 500 tests performed, no PC or other device is required, as the data is displayed on the screen by operating the 3 buttons conveniently located on the surface of the device.
The Dräger Alcotest 6000 is the right choice if you need a professional breathalyzer. The device complies with European standards and is included under No. I-0993:2018 in the "State Register of Measuring Instruments" of the Republic of Moldova as a modernized version (modification) of the basic model (Alcotest 5820).
